Review by hotel critic
Booked the day before a busy bank holiday, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, perfect for unwinding post-exploration of Somerset's beautiful locales. The hotel features a delightful garden terrace, which I found perfect for moments of contemplation, sipping tea amidst nature. The dining experience was satisfactory with a wide range of options, reflecting consideration for varied tastes; a reassuring aspect for those with dietary preferences like vegan meals. What truly stood out was the helpfulness of the staff, who fostered a welcoming atmosphere. Although the hotel is located near a pub, I enjoyed an uninterrupted night's sleep, which is a rarity. For those seeking a tranquil escape or convenience to local attractions, I would consider Marston's Inns a thoughtful choice.
